1. Acceptance
By creating a Domus account, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Notice.
2. Description of Service
Domus is a household organization app including grocery lists (FreshList), tasks (TaskFlow), medication reminders (PillPal), shared expense tracking, and a directory of home service providers (HandyBook).
3. Accounts and Households
- Each user may belong to one household at a time.
- The household owner is responsible for managing its members and subscription.
- You may leave a household at any time, unless you're the sole owner with other active members (you'll need to transfer ownership or remove members first).
4. Plans and Billing
- Individual Plan: free, single-user use.
- Household Premium Plan: $4.99 USD/month or $39.99 USD/year (or MXN equivalent), up to 6 members plus additional features.
- Provider Subscription (HandyBook): $3.99 USD/month or $60 MXN/month, with an annual option.
- Payments are processed through Stripe. Domus does not store your card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless canceled beforehand.
- You may cancel anytime from the billing section; premium access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Promotional codes/coupons applied during the pilot period will automatically convert to regular billing once the free period ends, unless canceled beforehand.
5. HandyBook — Service Providers
Domus HandyBook is a directory connecting households with independent, third-party service providers. Domus does not employ, endorse, verify, or guarantee the qualifications, licensing, insurance, or work quality of any listed provider. Ratings and reviews reflect the subjective opinions of individual users and do not constitute a warranty or certification by Domus.
Any agreement between a household and a provider is directly between those parties; Domus is not a party to that agreement and is not liable for damages, losses, disputes, or outcomes arising from services rendered. It's the user's responsibility to independently verify a provider's credentials, licensing, and suitability before engaging their services.
6. User-Generated Content
- Ratings and reviews must be honest and based on a real experience with the provider.
- Domus reserves the right to remove defamatory, abusive, or fraudulent content.
- Providers may flag a review they believe is unfair for review.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not use Domus for illegal activity, to harass other users or providers, or to post false information on provider profiles.
8. Limitation of Liability
Domus is provided "as-is." To the extent permitted by law, Domus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including but not limited to decisions made based on medication reminders, expense information, or engaging providers listed in HandyBook.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. We'll notify you of material changes in-app or by email.
